My birthday is May 7, which means my superhero will be based off of reticular formation, which is used to mediate the overall level of consciousness of the body and endorphins, which is like the natural "feel good", painkilling chemical of the body. This is a good combo, because that means the power for my hero will be the ability to stay awake and happy whenever he wants to be! I wish I could have that power in real life. His name is Reticular Retainer. He started off normally enough, but he first realized he had this power when his pet fish died. He somehow managed to keep a smile on his face, hold himself together and sleep soundly. He felt like it wasn't normal for this to happen to a normal boy like himself, right? But it all came together when he watched Toy Story 3 for the first time. In this week my short term memory was tested, and it turned out better than I thought it would! I tried the two picture memory tests and the face memory test. I did the best on the face one (a perfect score as you can see). I just thought of it like a big picture, each detail its own picture, and that helped. For short-term memory tests, I think these small games do show and help reveal how good or bad someones short-term memory is. It did make me use my brain to a higher degree than I usually would, so it slightly stressed me out a little.
