Week #6

This week I took a few personality/brain/psychological etc. tests and it really gave me some insight into what I am like. The first test I took was the Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test. in conclusion, it says I am an ISTJ, which means I am mostly introverted, which is pretty true. The I stands for introverted in ISTJ, while the S stands for sensing, T for thinking and J for judging. I would say this is an overall accurate test for your personality. The next test I took was an online attractions test. It took what I said and how I rated the attractiveness of women and told me who I like the most. In the end, it said I am the most attracted to trendy girls when compared to other types of girls. I would say this is somewhat accurate, because I would prefer a trendy one over a counter-culture type of girl. The next test was a crime test. It took my answers to their questions to see if I was more inclined to think of a "criminal" as more guilty or attractive. In the end I saw th...

Today, I looked at an article all about the ear. It was really insightful and I got to read even more information about the ear and it's anatomy. In the article, the first two sections are about things we all know that was went over in class. It discussed about the three sections of the ear (outer, middle, inner) and next was about pitch and frequency. The next section that went into more depth is about the role our inner ear has to do with balance. Did you know that dizziness after spinning is caused by the fluid in our ears remaining on the little hairs on the side of the semicircular canals, making our brain think we're still spinning? I thought that was really neat. The next section is about hearing loss and all the different factor that can contribute to that. The final section is about earwax and how it protects the skin from drying out and keeps the ear canal clean. Here is the article: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/321179.php

My life story isn't much. I was born in Richmond, Texas but lived in Missouri City for all of my life. I have an older brother and sister who have basically molded me into what I am today. Whether that's good or bad I don't know, but they have. I went to a private elementary school for some reason and then went to Dulles Middle School. I didn't like middle school very much, but I made friends there nonetheless. That is when I started band, and it was okay. It was kind of annoying and stressful sometimes, but I got to hang out with my band friends a lot. I then went to Dulles High School. Freshman year when I think back on it was like a fever dream, and every year afterwards becomes more prevalent in my memory. Initially I thought highschool would be fun because I got to leave at 2:45 and not 4, but I forgot that band was a thing, so I was actually leaving at 6. That sucked, but marching band was fun most of the time throughout the years. Junior year was probably the bes...
