Week #3

My birthday is May 7, which means my superhero will be based off of reticular formation, which is used to mediate the overall level of consciousness of the body and endorphins, which is like the natural "feel good", painkilling chemical of the body. This is a good combo, because that means the power for my hero will be the ability to stay awake and happy whenever he wants to be! I wish I could have that power in real life. His name is Reticular Retainer. He started off normally enough, but he first realized he had this power when his pet fish died. He somehow managed to keep a smile on his face, hold himself together and sleep soundly. He felt like it wasn't normal for this to happen to a normal boy like himself, right? But it all came together when he watched Toy Story 3 for the first time. As Woody and his toy friends were approaching the blazing inferno, he did not shed a single tear, even as his friends and family around him were sobbing in sorrow. And now to this day Reticular Retainer can stay up as late as he wants, has a smile on his face and makes others smile as well. For my superhero squad, I would like to have Toral with No Problemo Painkiller, Richard with Broca Dope, and Carmen with Word Force.
